Dirt Bikes for Sale in NC — Frequently Asked Questions

What size dirt bike does my kid need?

Age and weight are both factors, and kids vary a lot. As a general starting point: CRF50F for ages 4–7 and smaller kids, CRF110F for 7–12 year olds, CRF125F for 10–14. But honestly, come in with your kid and we’ll size them properly. A bike that’s too big is a safety issue. We’d rather spend 20 minutes getting it right than have you buy the wrong one. Call us at (252) 946-0920 or stop by 2287 W. 5th St. in Washington.

Honda CRF or Kayo for a beginner youth rider?

Honda CRF is the standard — better resale when you eventually sell it, proven reliability, and parents feel good about putting their kid on Honda. Kayo is a solid value option if budget matters and you don’t want to spend Honda money on a beginner machine the kid may or may not stick with. Both are safe and capable. We wouldn’t sell you either one if we didn’t stand behind it.

Do you have adult competition bikes?

We do — Honda CRF250R, CRF450R, and the CRF450R Works Edition. Plus Kove USA MX450R and EN450F for riders who want performance at a lower price point. The Works Edition is Honda’s factory-spec race bike with upgraded Showa suspension, frame protectors, and factory components. As close to a factory race bike as you can buy off a dealer lot.

What’s the difference between the CRF450R and CRF450R Works Edition?

Same engine and basic platform, but the Works Edition gets upgraded Showa suspension tuned closer to factory race spec, frame protectors, aluminum handlebar clamp, and factory-level components. If you’re racing or riding at a high level, the Works Edition is worth the extra money. Casual trail riders honestly don’t need it.

Where do people ride dirt bikes around eastern NC?

There are a handful of private properties and organized riding areas in the region. A lot of our customers have land. Some travel to Uwharrie or Badin Lake area for trail riding. Motocross tracks: Tar Heel MX in Pink Hill gets traffic from our area. If you’re new to riding in eastern NC and want to know where people ride locally, just ask when you come in — our staff rides and can point you in the right direction.

Can I finance a dirt bike?

Yes — 0% down, 5.99% APR over 240 months, OAC. Most buyers get same-day approval. We’re open Tue–Fri 8–5:30, Sat 8–2. Call (252) 946-0920 or come in.
